Here I am!

So, I have decided to start this blog since my grandma and both of my grandpas live out of town. Also, my grandma who lives in town loves everything and anything that has to do with me, so I am sure that she will not mind.

I am already 2 months, as of yesterday, into this crazy journey, and I have just been too busy eating, sleeping, and pooping up to this point to blog, but now I can keep my eyes open for more than an hour at a time, so here I am.

I'll start at the beginning; I was born on Monday, October 13 at 3:37 in the morning. I weighed 7 lbs. and 13 oz., and I was 20 inches long. My mom tried pushing for over four hours, but could not get me out, so I was delivered via c-section; I must say that I do not mind because my head is perfectly round. In the pushing process, mom bruised my head in several places and burst a blood vessel in my eye; I am just hoping that this is a one time deal.

The craziness did not stop there. As soon as I came out, people were swarming around me - mostly commenting on my beauty and incredible dimples - what can I say?

I got to meet so many people that first day, including mom and dad. My aunts, grandma, grandpa, and godmother were all waiting to meet me; I must say they looked awfully tired, but I guess I will excuse them. Grandpa cried; grandma smiled; Kate's boyfriend took pictures...It was quite an arrival. Several other people came to visit me during my 4 day stay at Northside, including Mrs. Lisa, Mrs. Allyson, Mr. Monroe, Great-Aunt Marsha, Mrs. Teri and Mr. Justin, Mrs. Stephanie, and my godfather James. Obviously, everyone wants to meet me.

It was nice being with just mom and dad once in awhile though. Mom looks a little scared, but she seems to be getting the hang of things. Dad has a very comfy chest; they seem like they are pretty alright, and I am looking forward to seeing home and starting to settle in to normal life...
