It seems that life gets busier the warmer the weather gets, and we have had some beautiful days lately, but before we get to the fun, I've got to relay an obligatory, growing up first that I bravely faced in April...
I met the dentist for the first time. I wasn't overly pleased since we all kno
w that it takes me awhile to warm up to anything, especially anything that requires someone touching me or coming anywhere near me. Even though Percy tested out the chair for me, I still freaked out a bit when the dentist had to look at my teeth, and I refused to sit in the chair while the dentist was in the room, which forced us to do the exam while I straddled Mom and lay my head in the dentist's lap. Thankfully, all is looking good, and the dentist was even a bit surprised that I already have all of my teeth, including molars. The entire visit wasn't a wash though, for t
he dentist's office is ocean-themed, so I got to play in the big boat, and I even made friends with a couple of older girls. Then after the exam, the dentist gave me coins, and I got to buy any prize I wanted. Overall, I would probably consent to going again, but only for the boat and the prize. Good thing I am a teeth brushing pro so that I don't have to go too often! In addition, I am finally figuring out that you aren't supposed to swallow the toothpaste: Big girl toothpaste, here I come! Now, for the warm weather fun that is upon us...
To counteract the horrible dental first, I got to experience another first, fishing! Dad took me fishing a few weeks back at the Rainbow Trout Farm down the street. I thought it was awesome, and I kept announcing that "I fish just like Curious George!" Dad was a little disappointed though because the ponds were designed so that as soon as your fishing pole dips into the water, you've got a fish. The whole fishing experience took all of 20 minutes, and only 5 of those minutes were actually spent doing the fishing. I didn't care though; I caught 2 fish, and I was super excited when we ate my fish for dinner the following night. Just call me The Provi

In early April, Dad, Mom, and I joined the Wheelers and the Bauers at the Taste of Forsyth and Touch a Truck event at the Cumming Fairgrounds. I was more excited at the idea of seeing big trucks than the reality. I adamantly refused to climb inside any of them with Lucas, but I did sit on the front of a firetruck, which was awesome! Personally, I enjoyed the food and music tent much more.

Speaking of the Wheelers, Mr. Ben had his big 30th birthday bash in April, and Mrs. Allison threw quite a party. I think the kids had even more fun than the adults. Lucas and I were definitely the life of the party! Mom somehow forgot the nice camera, and we didn't even get a picture of the birthday boy - Geesh! It was a great time though; guess you had to be there. Happy Birthday, Mr. Ben!

The warm spring nights have given way to a new tradition: Friday Gelato and Sushi Night with Mom and Dad. I knew I loved sushi, and now, gelato has found its way into my heart. Mint chocolate chip is the best!

it during the month of April, but Mom and I kept ourselves busy, like our night with Aunt Mallory, Ms. Lidia, and Mr. Chris at Alive After Five in downtown Roswell. This event happens every 3rd Thursday during the spring, summer, and early fall months, and we will definitely be attending more. We had a blast! I got two glow sticks; I talked the pest control people into giving me the second one when my first one broke. I enjoyed dinner with the crowd, a couple of cookies, and dancing to the band on the green. The 98.5 radio station people 
complimented my cuteness over and over and even took pictures of me for their website. The highlight of my night was definitely dancing with the older girls though. A group of teenage girls started dancing in a circle, and when I went over to join them, one of the girls picked me up and let me join the group dance. I was beaming from ear to ear! The whole way home, I kept telling Mom, "I dance with the big girls; it really nice of them." Shy is definitely not an adjective to describe me. The festivals and outdoor events just keep coming. On April 16
th, Dad and Mom ran the Sweetwater 420 5K in Candler Park while I hung out with Aunt Steph, Uncle Ian, Mrs. Sharon, Mr. Carl, and Cousin Harper. Harper and I had some great early morning fun at her house, and we even went outside to watch Mom and Dad run by the house. I am very sweet to my cousin, and I love to entertain her and play with her. After the race, w
e met up with Mom and Dad to enjoy the Sweetwater 420 Festival. I had a great time blowing bubbles and entertaining Harper. She thinks that I am super cool, and I tend to agree with her. After Harper had to go home, I met up with Baby Avery and continued to entertain with my bubbles, Batman, and trains. I know how to keep the babies happy. I am definitely going to make a great big sis someday! By the way, porta potties and 2-year-olds make for an interesting adventure; I am still a little confused as to why they don't flush, which I announced to the entire crowd waiting in line. Speaking of big sis practice, at home I am a very good mommy to all of my babies. I tuck them in and give them goodnight kisses and read to them and bathe them and feed them and hug them and give them lots of love. Mom caught me one day during my bedtime routine with my babies.
At home, Dad and I have been taking full advantage of the late sun and warm evenings by extending and tending to this year's backyard garden; I personally picked out the Mickey Mouse green beans. We are also growing different herbs, tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers, peas, carrots, lettuce, and broccoli. I see a very green thumb in my future. I love to garden and do anything that involves being outside; the most fun part was definitely dumping dirt down Daddy's back though. 
We did get one really bad April shower that came with terrible tornadoes that devastated the Southeast and killed many people. My heart goes out to the families of those people, and I am just very thankful that the actual tornadoes missed us. Dad was out of town during the terrible weather, and Mom didn't want to take any chances, so she scooped me up from my bed at 11 p.m. and brought me down to sleep with her. Unfortunately, I took the explanation of a slumber party a bit too literally, and we were up pretty much all night long; the super smiley picture is from 1:30 a.m., and that wasn't even the last time I woke up. Hey, I had fun, I wasn't scared, and the worst of the storms went right around us, so it ended up being a pretty good night in my eyes. 
Quick announcement: The hair is coming in! I have been experimenting with new hairstyles, now that I actually have hair, and Aunt Mal even managed to get the mane into a ponytail. We were worried the day would never come, but now, I may actually be approaching the need for my first haircut. Get excited, people! By the way, Little Piggy is pictured with me, and he has taken the top spot as my best friend and most cherished item recently. I won't leave home without him, and I won't let anyone touch him; I even got a little lecture about sharing and kindness the other day when I ran in the Kids' Korner at the gym and loudly announced with a stern look on my face, "Nobody better touch my piggy!" Since then, I either have to leave him in the car or share him; I typically leave him in the car. The one person with whom I will share my piggy is Harper since she is my baby. 
Speaking of happy announcements, we are beyond excited to announce that Tyler is a big brother! Ella Rose arrived 5 weeks early, but she and Mrs. Alisha are doing perfectly! She looks just like a baby doll, and we are so excited to welcome her into our playgroup. We'll toughen you up with a quickness, Ella, and I'll show you how to work these boys. Congratulations Mrs. Alisha, Mr. DJ, and Tyler!
Easter Fun:

I continued our tradition from last year and dyed Easter eggs at his house. On the way there, Mom and I had to stop and pick up white eggs; Mom didn't think about the fact that brown eggs probably wouldn't dye as well. Anyways, after explaining to me that we had to get eggs to cook so that I could dye them and make Easter decorations for the house, I got a pensive look on my face for a moment and then exclaimed very enthusiastically, and seriously, that the "Easter Bunny is going to be so proud of me!" What!? I like making people proud, and I am sure that the Easter Bunny is going to be proud of my eggs. Of course, the idea of dyeing eggs kept my attention far longer than the actual dyeing. Lucas 
and I had a better time goofing around, climbing the furniture, throwing things off of the stairs, and eating lunch at his little table. Then I almost took out him and both moms with my golfing skills; just watch how I turn the club around! Golf clubs are dangerous for me, but I did get the hang of hitting the golf ball, which also became a weapon under my control! en, Lucas, and I headed to Parker and Grayson's house for a Playgroup Easter Egg Hunt. Madden definitely had the hunt part down, and we all excelled when it came to eating the chocolate inside of the eggs. Let's just say that playgroup got crazy and incredibly loud with a toddler sugar rush! I love my playgroup! Lucas, Tyler, Madden, Parker, Grayson, Selina, and Boris are my best friends! We still keep up with weekly park days, playgroup days, and library days, even if one day just includes a couple of us. I am so lucky to have so many good friends who live so close! Finally, after all of the preparations, Easter arrived, and it was wor
th the wait. The Easter Bunny must have been proud because he hooked me up with pool toys, gardening tools, clothes, big girl underwear, stamps, a ducky, and lots of candy. He even brought me purple nail polish so that Mom could paint my toenails, just like Parker. After tearing through my basket and a quick breakfast, we headed to church where I sat through the entire service perfectly. I am such a good girl! We hosted the big Easter meal again this year, and the fam made it quite a celebration. Harper is r
eally starting to notice me, and I love entertaining her. I now tell everyone, "I have a baby; my baby is 'arper"; I love my cousin. I got to enjoy another Easter egg hunt in the backyard, and after picking up each egg and shaking it to make sure that it contained candy, I only collected the most promising eggs. Cameron helped me in my egg collecting efforts, and Aunt Steph even brought me confetti eggs, with which to decorate the yard. Although the entire day was a ton of fun, I think the highlight was when Lucas came by to take our yearly Easter photos together. We crack each other up! We pretended to pick our noses during the photo shoot, which we found overly hysterical, and we just went wild in general. By the way, thank you for the golf set, Lucas; we'll see how quickly these lead to an ER visit. Any day that I get to see the extended fam and Lucas is a perfect day in my book. To put a cap on April, Mom met Dad out in San Francisco after a week long business trip, and I got to stay with Aunt Mal and then Grandma for the weekend. Mom still leaves crazy instructions; even though, Grandma has watched me during several trips at his point. Mom an
d Dad had so much fun, and I quite enjoyed my weekend, which included a petting zoo trip with Grandma, during which I got to pet a deer and a bunny rabbit and see a lion! I even fed carrots to the deer, the bunny, some goats, and a calf; now, everytime I eat a carrot, I call myself a bunny rabbit. Unfortunately, the weekend also included a high fever, which had Mom worried sick from across the nation, but Grandma took good care of me and let me do whatever I wanted to make me feel better. Thank goodness Mommy and Daddy brought me home a trolley, an owl hat, and chocolate covered Oreos to make me feel better; all I specifically requested was the chocolate, so I was most excited about that! I can enjoy chocolate even while still running a high fever, no problem. Thank you, Grandma and Aunt Mal!
Oh, and I am still practicing my dance moves in the evenings; don't you worry.
I am totally ready for another crazy month in May!
